The Utility Department is responsible for and maintains the City of Riesel's Water Supply and operates the RMS Water Supply Company. 

They also operate and maintain the city sewer system, maintain streets, roads, bridges, signs, easements, storm drains & gutters, replace culverts and other routine maintenance around the city as needed. 

The Utility Department is also responsible for maintaining Mullen's Park.
